Click on the Ecobank app icon to open it

Click on ‘Get Started’

and then, ‘No, I am new to Ecobank’

Click on ‘Select your country’

Scroll down and click on Ghana

Now, enter your mobile number and click on ‘Continue’

Scroll down the Terms & conditions and click on accept

Do the same for 'Privacy Policy'

Next, click on ‘Open an express account’

You will receive an OTP code via SMS

This is required so the app can confirm your mobile number

Enter the code and click on Create Profile

Fill in your name and other details requested and click on ‘Continue’

On the Identification screen, choose Ghanian cedi for currency

Then, click on ‘Select ID type’

Click on the option you want to use for your account, fill in the details requested and click ‘Continue’

Scroll down and accept the terms and conditions

You are almost there!

Click on ‘Create a 6 digit PIN’

Enter the PIN you want to set and re-enter it to confirm

Then click Continue

Select two security questions and provide answers

This is required to allow you to recover your account in case you forget the PIN

Try and set questions with unique answers that only you know

It is advisable to not share your PIN and answers for the secret questions

After you've set up both secret questions, click on Create Profile

If your phone has the features, you can set up Face ID or Fingerprint ID

If not, click on ‘Not now’

And that completes your Ecobank express account registration!
